Military Fellowship Program: Contracts Administrator

SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members. During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for their transition to full-time civilian work.

NOTE: You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program. This program is not for veterans who have already separated from the military.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain contract management systems and databases.
• Assist in reviewing contract documents to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all contract activities.
• Support audits and compliance reviews by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Maintains close, professional interface with internal customer personnel (technical, administrative and business). Interfaces with external customers in coordination with the Contracts Manager.
• Works with internal customers (program managers, program directors, etc. ) ensuring all communication with external customers is concise and consistent from both technical and contractual personnel.
• In coordination with Contracts Manager, reviews, recommends and negotiates Non-Disclosure Agreements, ensuring SNC protection in terms and conditions.
• Tracking, reconciling, closing and reporting Unbilled and Accounts Receivable status; supports in resolution of Invoice issues.
• Tracks and submits Contracts and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documentation.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Currently serving as ACTIVE DUTY military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
• Associate's degree in a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skills to plan, organize, multi-task, prioritize, and execute assigned workload to meet multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
• Familiarity with government contract requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) regulations.
• Ability to problem solve - applying originality, creativity and initiative.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to work primarily in an office environment.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Ability to travel occasionally (<10%) for training or contract negotiations.
