Product Manager - Regulatory Compliance (Japan)

About the Role

LexisNexis is building market-leading solutions that help organizations manage regulatory obligations, monitor regulatory change, and reduce compliance risk.

We're looking for a Product Manager to join our growing global team and help shape the future of our RegCompliance+ platform.

In this role, you'll work closely with customers, engineering, design, content, and commercial teams to identify customer needs, define product requirements, and deliver solutions that create real value for compliance professionals.

You'll also act as the voice of the Japanese market within a global product organization, ensuring local customer needs and regulatory requirements are represented in product planning and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their workflows, challenges, and unmet needs.
• Translate customer insights into clear product requirements and solutions.
• Partner with Engineering and Design teams to deliver new features and improvements.
• Support product discovery, roadmap planning, and feature prioritization.
• Use customer feedback and product data to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with teams across Product, Content, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
• Represent the needs of Japanese customers within a global product team.

Requirements

• Experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Consulting, or a related role.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a genuine interest in understanding user needs.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Business-level Japanese and professional-level English.

Nice to Have

• Experience within SaaS, Legal Tech, Compliance, Information Services, or B2B Technology.
• Exposure to product analytics, user research, or customer discovery.
• Understanding of the Japanese regulatory or compliance landscape.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled products and technologies.
