Job Description

As a Regulatory Compliance Manager (RCM), you will play a key role in ensuring that Continental’s tire portfolio complies with global regulatory and homologation requirements. You will lead and support implementation projects, translate regulatory changes into internal processes, and act as a central interface across functions and external authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Implementation

  • Implement new regulatory and internal labeling requirements into systems, tools, and processes;
  • Ensure timely compliance of tire products with evolving legal requirements.

Project Management

  • Lead and contribute to global and regional compliance implementation projects;
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results.

Homologation & Certification

  • Manage processes related to type approval and certification;
  • Ensure compliance with plant licensing and regulatory standards.

Quality & Risk Mitigation

  • Collaborate with Quality teams to minimize compliance risks;
  • Contribute to structured problem-solving activities (A3, 8D, etc.).

Process Ownership & Documentation

  • Own and maintain regulatory compliance sub-processes (PoMS);
  • Create, update and implement official documentation and training.

Key User & Continuous Improvement

  • Act as expert for tools and systems (e.g., cPlace, PoMS, GUTS, CTMD);
  • Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements.

External Representation

  • Represent the company in industry working groups and authorities;
  • Engage with type approval authorities, certification bodies, and test labs.

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business Administration, or similar;
  • 2+ years of relevant experience (e.g., product development, process management, regulatory environment);
  • Expertise in Type Approval and Certification processes;
  • Strong knowledge of: Standards & regulations (global scope); Plant licensing and regulatory frameworks;
  • Knowledge of Technical Compliance and structured problem solving;
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects;
  • Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style;
  • Familiarity with digital tools;
  • Strong ownership and accountability mindset;
  • Experience working in international environments;
  • Proficiency in English (written / verbal).
