About the Function

Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world.

With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a complex, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships.

It’s fast-paced and hands-on, with teams working together to ensure quality, efficiency and sustainability at every stage. From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers’ hands, you’ll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.

About the Role

As a Regulatory Specialist Equity, you'll play a key role in protecting the integrity, quality and compliance of Diageo's global brands. Acting as the subject matter expert for Brand Technical Equity, you'll work across a global network of stakeholders, production sites and third-party operations to establish consistent standards, safeguard brand reputation and drive operational excellence.

You'll lead the development and implementation of the Brand Technical Equity Framework, ensuring robust governance, standardised ways of working and contractual compliance across our global supply network. Working collaboratively with Technical, Global Brand Teams, Procurement and production sites, you'll provide expert regulatory guidance, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help deliver consistent, right-first-time quality across our portfolio.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Brand Technical Equity Framework, embedding consistent global standards and best practice.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Brand Technical Equity, providing technical consultancy and regulatory guidance to internal teams, production sites and third-party operations.
  • Develop and maintain Brand Technical Manuals, defining production standards for global brands and managing priorities across categories and manufacturing locations.
  • Manage the central Brand Technical Manual portal, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and accessibility of technical documentation across more than 80 global production sites.
  • Own key technical standards and governance processes, monitoring compliance, analysing performance data and reporting on key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with Global Brand Teams, Technical functions, Procurement and external partners to ensure contractual compliance and consistent product quality.
  • Deliver training and capability-building initiatives to improve understanding of regulatory requirements, brand standards and technical compliance across the business.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and tools that enhance efficiency, data quality and compliance across the global supply network.
  • Provide technical support and risk-based regulatory advice, helping the business balance commercial opportunities while protecting brand integrity and consumer trust.

Experience / skills required:

  • Experience within a technical support function in the food, beverage or alcoholic drinks industry.

  • A degree in Food Science, Science or a related technical discipline is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of liquid formulations and product development.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.

  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote and cross-functional teams.

  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent communication and influencing skills, building effective relationships with internal stakeholders, third-party suppliers and customers.

  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and how they support quality and regulatory compliance.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Flexibility is key to our success. Talk to us about what flexibility means to you, so that you’re supported to manage your wellbeing and balance your priorities from day one.

Our purpose is crafting iconic drinks chosen for life’s moments. And it’s our people, with their different experiences, perspectives and talents, who make that possible.

We value diversity in its broadest sense and want everyone to feel they can belong, contribute and strive for their personal best. You’ll work alongside people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives — challenging, supporting and learning from one another as one

outstanding team.

Together, we’re constantly learning and improving, combining the strength of our people, capabilities and iconic brands to raise the bar, grow and win. Wherever you join us, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute, make an impact and play your part in making life’s moments mean a little more.
