Job Description
Provides services, including guidance counseling, behavioral observation and custodial care, to youth detained in the Juvenile Detention facility. This position serves as a direct caregiver under the direction of a Shift Supervisor, providing structure and supervision for youth in detention.

- This is a part-time, limited benefit, position working at the Fillmore Complex located at 12110 Fillmore Street, West Olive, MI.
- This position is limited to 1,000 hours or less, per year.
- This position will be required to be available and able to work all shifts. Shifts are the following:
- 1st shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- 2nd shift: 2:45 p.m. - 10:45 p.m.
- 3rd shift: 10:30 p.m. - 8:30 a.m.
- The hourly rate of pay is $24.06 per hour. There is no holiday pay.
- There is no guarantee of hours.
- Working holidays and weekends will be needed.
- If selected, 80 hours of training must be completed within the first few weeks of being hired.
