Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sênior Tax Compliance Analyst based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic tax compliance team focused on ensuring accuracy, governance, and regulatory compliance across complex business operations.
You will be responsible for managing tax routines, supporting strategic initiatives, and improving processes through strong technical expertise and attention to detail.

Accountabilities:

    As a Senior Tax Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for managing tax compliance activities, ensuring accurate calculations, timely reporting, and continuous improvement of tax processes. You will contribute to maintaining strong tax governance while supporting business needs and regulatory requirements.

    • Calculate current and deferred taxes, including IRPJ, CSLL, PIS, Cofins, ISS, IOF, CPRB, and Simples/DAS, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and market best practices.
    • Maintain tax controls and supporting documentation to guarantee traceability and reliability of calculations.
    • Perform tax-related accounting reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
    • Prepare and deliver tax obligations and regulatory filings, including ECF, DCTFWeb, EFD-Contribuições, Reinf, e-Financeira, and other required reports.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing invoice processes, including issuing electronic invoices when required.
    • Provide internal tax consulting and technical guidance to different business areas.
    • Prepare tax projections, analyze budget versus actual variations, and develop action plans for identified inconsistencies.
    • Build and monitor tax performance indicators, such as effective tax rates, reconciliation aging, and compliance deadlines.
    • Support operational adjustments related to tax reform initiatives, ensuring compliance throughout transition phases.
    • Analyze the tax impact of new products and business initiatives.
    • Participate in tax-related projects, ensuring successful execution and regulatory alignment.
    • Maintain tax governance processes and support interactions with tax authorities when necessary.
    • Assist with external audits, due diligence processes, and other external tax-related requests.
    • Support and review the work of junior analysts, providing guidance and technical knowledge when needed.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is a tax professional with strong compliance experience, technical knowledge of Brazilian taxation, and the ability to manage complex processes with accuracy and ownership.

      • Bachelor’s degree completed in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, or related fields.
      • Ongoing or completed specialization in Tax Law, Tax Management, or related areas is a plus.
      • At least 3 years of experience in tax-related activities is preferred.
      • Intermediate English proficiency.
      • Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax compliance routines and regulatory requirements.
      • Experience with tax calculations, reconciliations, reporting obligations, and operational tax processes.
      • Ability to analyze data, identify inconsistencies, and propose effective solutions.
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
      • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
      • Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
      • Experience with SAP and/or Oracle systems is considered an advantage.
      • Experience with taxation in financial institutions, payment companies, investment platforms, or FIDC environments is a plus.
