Position: Sr. Analyst– Business Solutions Contracts (P2)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position, Analyst- Business Solutions Contracts, will provide expert in procurement contracts support to the RTX Enterprise Services Partnerships team.  This role requires a mix of legal,transactional, organizational skills, and the enthusiasm to keep pace with RTX dynamic agenda.

This role is responsible for end-to-end contract lifecycle management and negotiation of commercial and operational terms terms of the contracts.  The position help with drafting and negotiating global contracts in software procurement, non-IT strategic procurement,  professional services, , and vendor management . The ideal candidate will draw from experience in procurement contracts  that can assist with translating this knowledge via contract negotiations.   As this is a fast-paced environment, understanding various services model (T&M, fixed price, etc.) and familiarity of contract law tied these agreements is strongly desired.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Execute preliminary contract review and markup, drafting contract amendments, andfollow through to execution for MTA, MSA, Order Forms and NDAs and associatedamendments

Liaison with Legal and the Stakeholders to complete the RTX’ Onetrust process to align with procurement activitiesEstablish top supplier engagement plans and governance to ensure qualityDevelop executive level analysis & presentations.

Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle

Maintain and update contracts in the Contract Management Systems (e.g. Contracts Tracker, Ariba etc.)

Manage contract execution workflow via Docusign and track completion

Track and manage contract renewals and to ensure timely closure

Coordinate with the PO team for PO creation and to monitor related progress

REQUIREMENTS

3-5  years' experience in Services Contract Management

Skilled in drafting, redlining, and managing contracts; knowledge of data privacy and commercial contract terms (Eg: SLAs, termination, support services, SOWs, licensing etc.) and information security

In depth understanding of software procurement (SaaS, on-premise, cloud-based) models and strategic non-IT procurement (marketing, sponsorship, branding, HR, professional services etc.) categories.

Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills

Proficient in tracking actions/risks using technology; effective project planning and execution

Analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in dynamic environments

Familiarity with facilities management and services contracts

Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Teams)

Strong judgment, time management, and critical thinking skills

Desired Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess a bachelor’s degree

3-5 yrs of services/software contracts experience

Ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management andindividual contributors on the program team

 Having a legal background is a plus

 Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs

or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
