Senior/ Contracts Manager - Energy Sector
Position Overview
Job Description
- Contract management experience across the full lifecycle of large energy projects, including change and claims management.
- Develop and define tender and contract strategies in collaboration with key business functions to ensure all organisational requirements are met. Monitor supply chain developments and provide regular market intelligence updates, highlighting potential risks to the critical path at an early stage.
- Support the development of PQQs, tender documentation, evaluation criteria, and scopes of work, as well as the evaluation of proposals for FEED and EPCI packages.
- Manage commercial and contractual matters in close collaboration with procurement and legal teams. Proactively manage contracts and lead claim negotiations, including the resolution of disputes.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Maintain comprehensive records to support the assessment of contract variations in line with contractual provisions.
- Ensure contract compliance throughout the lifecycle, including monitoring deliverables, managing variations and claims, and resolving disputes.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting, including collecting and collating data for forecasting, planning, and record-keeping purposes.
- Communicate contract status clearly to key stakeholders, including senior leadership. Monitor contracted scope of work and report any variances
- Build, maintain, and manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience in contracts management supporting large energy projects.
- Bachelor’s degree qualification in Supply Chain Management /Engineering /Business/ Law or equivalent.
- Contract management experience throughout the life cycle of projects including contract change management and contract claim management.
- Extensive knowledge of Contracts for Surveys Operations.
- Understanding of the financial analysis and reporting of project budgets.
- Build, maintain and manage close relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English
