Job Description:

Parsons are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead contract administration, procurement support, claims management, and commercial governance for a major airfield development project. This role ensures that all contractual matters are managed in accordance with project requirements, legal frameworks, and stakeholder expectations.

The ideal candidate has 15 years of experience in contracts management within large-scale infrastructure, aviation, or complex civil works.

What You'll Be Doing;

  • Manage pre- and post-contract activities including tendering, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Oversee contractual compliance, variations, claims, and commercial risks.
  • Maintain contract records, notices, and correspondence.
  • Evaluate contractor claims, extensions of time, and cost variations.
  • Support dispute resolution, contract interpretation, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure alignment with project budget and commercial controls.
  • Act as the point of contact for contractual matters with contractors, consultants, and legal teams.
  • Coordinate with planning, engineering, and finance to ensure contract alignment with progress.

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years in contract administration/management on large infrastructure projects.
  • Strong experience with FIDIC and similar international conditions of contract.
  • Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and claims evaluation skills.
  • Strong commercial, analytical, and communication abilities.
  • Experience in aviation/airfield project contracts.
  • MRICS, MCIOB, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Knowledge of commercial management software (Aconex, SAP).
