Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from employment lawyers who are interested in supporting one of our clients, a leading global investment bank.

This is expected to be a part time role working at least 4 days per week, with 2 days in the office commencing in mid-November for a 4-6 month period.

This role will involve advising on a broad range of employment matters such as:

  • Advising on day-to-day employment issues.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating employment documentation, policies and procedures.
  • Managing employment litigation claims and pre-action matters.
  • Advising on hires and exits, including complex and senior departures.
  • Managing legal and HR issues arising in EMEA and Asia jurisdictions.

Person specification:

  • You are a qualified lawyer with strong employment law expertise.
  • International experience, including managing employment and HR issues across EMEA and Asia, ideally in a regulated environment.  
  • You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach.
  • You are able to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment.
  • You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines. You have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
  • You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team.
  • You will be required to hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
