Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Tax Manager to partner with the Tax Director on domestic and international income tax matters. You'll work closely with the Tax Team, collaborate across finance and business functions, and coordinate with external auditors and advisors on complex tax issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical tax background, excellent attention to detail and project management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multinational environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare quarterly income tax provisions, tax account reconciliations, income tax disclosures, tax memos, and support the monthly close process.
  • Prepare income tax forecasts to support planning and cash tax projections.
  • Prepare US federal and state tax returns and supporting workpapers.
  • Manage international tax compliance and transfer pricing, including withholding tax and Pillar Two compliance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams — including Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Treasury — at all levels of the organization.
  • Serve as a responsive, trusted tax resource for internal business partners.
  • Support international tax expansion, including coordinating with external advisors on tax return preparation.
  • Lead or contribute to ad hoc tax projects as priorities arise.
  • Maintain compliance with SOX requirements across all areas of responsibility.
  • Identify and implement process improvements — including new technology — to streamline the tax calculation process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field required.
  • CPA preferred, but not required.
  • 10+ years of relevant tax experience, ideally including time at a Big 4 accounting firm as well as in-house industry experience.
  • High-tech industry experience in California required.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Experience with OneSource tax software preferred.
  • Strong tax research skills, with the ability to analyze and clearly communicate conclusions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax audiences.
