Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technology SME - Compliance, Legal & People Systems based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to lead technology initiatives that support compliance, legal operations, and people-focused business functions within a complex enterprise environment.
You will act as a strategic technology partner, connecting business needs with secure, scalable, and compliant digital solutions.
The position requires expertise across healthcare IT, regulatory frameworks, enterprise systems, and process optimization.
You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve operational efficiency, strengthen governance, and enable digital transformation.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, business understanding, and the ability to manage critical systems and integrations.

Accountabilities:

    The Technology SME will be responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of technology solutions across compliance, legal, and people systems. The role requires close collaboration with business teams, technical stakeholders, and vendors to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable operations.

    • Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of compliance, legal, and HR technology platforms.
    • Ensure enterprise systems align with healthcare regulations, data privacy requirements, security standards, and governance policies.
    • Partner with compliance, legal, HR, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
    • Configure, optimize, and integrate enterprise applications supporting compliance, legal, and people operations.
    • Support healthcare compliance initiatives through secure data management, access controls, and audit processes.
    • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to systems, workflows, and operational processes.
    • Drive digital transformation initiatives focused on automation, efficiency, and business value.
    • Develop system documentation, governance frameworks, and operational best practices.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate enhancements with internal teams and external technology providers.
    • Support reporting, analytics, and dashboard development to improve compliance visibility and decision-making.
    • Provide technical guidance, training, and subject matter expertise to stakeholders across the organization.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is a senior technology professional with strong experience managing enterprise systems in regulated environments. They should combine technical expertise with business acumen, communication skills, and the ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives.

      • 9+ years of experience working with healthcare IT, compliance systems, legal technology, or HR technology platforms.
      • Strong understanding of HIPAA requirements, healthcare regulations, data privacy, and governance frameworks.
      • Experience implementing, supporting, or optimizing HRIS, legal, compliance, or enterprise business applications.
      • Knowledge of system integrations, workflow automation, enterprise architecture, and application lifecycle management.
      • Experience with reporting, analytics, and dashboard solutions.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement.
      • Proven ability to collaborate with legal, compliance, HR, IT, and business stakeholders in complex environments.
      • Familiarity with information security concepts, identity and access management, and regulatory compliance practices.
      • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining security, compliance, and operational excellence.
      • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for using technology to improve business processes.
