Role summary:

The Senior Manager, Compliance and Ethics Operations leads the development and execution of comprehensive compliance and ethics programs across multiple markets. This role involves driving risk mitigation strategies, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to company policies and ethical standards. The position requires collaboration with business partners to identify operational needs, implement corrective actions, and promote continuous improvement. By overseeing training initiatives and managing complex investigations, the Senior Manager supports a culture of integrity and accountability while aligning compliance efforts with organizational objectives to safeguard the company’s reputation and operational effectiveness.

About the team:

The Specialty Compliance and Ethics team ensures adherence to U.S. privacy laws through comprehensive monitoring of regulatory changes and implementation of effective policies and controls. Collaborating closely with legal and business partners, the team conducts regulatory research, risk assessments, and governance initiatives. This group plays a vital role in translating complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions that safeguard the organization and uphold Walmart’s commitment to ethical business practices. The team’s efforts support risk mitigation and promote consistent compliance across the enterprise, reinforcing a strong foundation of integrity throughout the company.

What you'll do...

  • Partner with legal teams to convert regulatory requirements into actionable plans, memos, and business decisions
  • Translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance for business stakeholders
  •  Proactively identify and assess potential risks, connecting insights to business impact and mitigation strategies
  • Analyze compliance risks and translate findings into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership decision making
  • Manage multiple projects and compliance risks, adjusting priorities to meet objectives
  • Develop and lead associates while promoting ethical standards and accountability

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
