Roles & Responsibilities:

• Engage in regulatory compliance-based activities (RoHS, REACH, IMDS, customer compliance lists etc.) such as understanding product structure of electronic components and learning the roles and function of regulatory compliance in the manufacturing world
• Utilize knowledge of regulatory compliance to perform tasks like ensuring submissions from manufacturers/ suppliers meets criteria in different Jabil sites around the world
• Understand the function of different substances and materials in different electronic components and the tools involved to collect such information
• Utilize tools (e.g. SAP EHSM) for BOM organization skills: BOM scrubbing, BOM prepping, and function of SAP EHSM in maintenance of regulatory compliance data
• Explore third party tools such as IMDS to explore its role in automative aspect of electronic components and understanding its impact in influencing automotive designs
• Learn specific details of components, such as breakdown of electrical components

Key Skills:

• Proficient in technical and commercial knowledge of components
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
• Analytical and creative problem solving skills.
• Multilingualism is an added advantage.

Major/ Background:

• Students who are taking his/her Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or related fields of Engineering
