More about the role

At Signify, we believe lighting can unlock extraordinary potential. As a Legal & Compliance Intern based in Dubai, you'll have the opportunity to work with an experienced regional legal team supporting one of the world's leading lighting companies across the Middle East, Africa & UK.

This is more than a traditional legal internship. You'll gain hands-on exposure to complex cross-border commercial transactions, corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters while partnering with business leaders across multiple functions. From supporting commercial negotiations and legal research to contributing to compliance initiatives and risk management projects, you'll work on meaningful assignments that directly support our business and help shape your professional development.

If you're looking for an internship where you'll learn from experienced in-house counsel, work in an international environment, and make an impact from day one, we'd love to hear from you.

More about you

We are looking for a curious, ambitious and commercially minded law student or recent graduate who is passionate about building a career as an in-house legal professional.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law from a recognized university.
  • A strong academic record and a genuine interest in commercial, corporate and compliance law.
  • Excellent legal research, analytical and drafting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • A high level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaborate effectively within a multicultural team.
  • A proactive mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced international business environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Everything we’ll do for you

You can grow a lasting career here. We’ll encourage you, support you, and challenge you. We’ll help you learn and progress in a way that’s right for you, with coaching and mentoring along the way. We’ll listen to you too, because we see and value every one of our 29,000+ people.

We believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a full spectrum of bright ideas. With a global workforce present in 70+ countries, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where every voice is heard and valued, helping us all achieve more together.

Come join us, and together we can light up the future.
