Internship Description

  • During your internship, you will build and scale an AI‑based testing system by further developing an existing proof of concept and actively supporting the successful rollout of this solution.
  • From initial concept to final implementation, you will independently develop full‑stack features end to end, covering UI and API development through to AI integration, including AI agents and AI‑enabled workflows.
  • At the same time, you will actively identify improvement potential within the existing proof of concept and suggest concrete enhancements to strengthen overall functionality and scalability.
  • Working closely with various teams, you will collaborate across different areas of the organization and gain insights into multiple domains while contributing to scaling the current solution.
  • In this role, you will benefit from access to the latest large language models, state‑of‑the‑art IT infrastructure, and a high level of creative freedom when shaping the technical implementation.
  • Education: advanced studies in the field of Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a comparable quantitative discipline with excellent grades
  • Experience and Knowledge:
    • demonstrated programming proficiency in Python
    • initial exposure to DevOps best practices such as Git and unit testing
    • strong foundation in both theory and practice of Large Language Models and Generative AI, including prompt engineering and orchestration
    • hands-on familiarity with RAG techniques and agentic workflows
    • involvement in fine‑tuning, evaluation, and/or deployment of foundation models
  • Personality and Working Practice: you are an excellent communicator with strong organizational skills, highly motivated, hands-on, and enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams with a clear focus on shared success
  • Work Routine: we offer you the opportunity to work in a hybrid setup
  • Enthusiasm: for GenAI and building AI agents in a fast-paced environment
  • Languages: fluent in English and beginner in German

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months (confirmation of mandatory internship required)
