We are searching for the best talent for Analyst – Legal Entity Accounting
Purpose:
The Analyst – Legal Entity Accounting supports statutory accounting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and external audit activities for a portfolio of legal entities. This role assists in the preparation of statutory accounting deliverables, reconciliations, financial analyses, audit documentation, and regulatory reporting requirements while developing expertise in Local GAAP, IFRS/US GAAP, and Johnson & Johnson financial processes.
The position works closely with Legal Entity Accounting team members, Country Tax Centers (CTCs), Tax, Compliance, and external auditors to support accurate and timely execution of accounting and reporting activities.
You will be responsible for:
Statutory Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Support the preparation of statutory accounting deliverables and statutory financial statements for assigned legal entities.
- Assist in the preparation of cash flow statements and financial reporting schedules.
- Prepare reconciliations between local statutory records and corporate reporting figures.
- Support account reconciliations, financial analyses, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain accounting records and documentation in accordance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
Audit & Compliance Support
- Participate in internal and external audit activities by preparing supporting documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Assist with audit planning activities, schedules, communication follow-up, and tracking of audit deliverables.
- Support compliance with accounting policies, governance requirements, SOX controls, and internal control procedures.
- Assist in identifying and escalating accounting and reporting issues.
Regulatory Compliance & Stakeholder Support
- Support compliance with statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting obligations for assigned legal entities.
- Collaborate with Country Tax Centers (CTCs), Tax, Compliance, and Finance teams on reporting requirements.
- Support legal entity accounting activities and regulatory submissions.
Continuous Improvement
- Perform basic trend analysis and data reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support process improvement and standardization initiatives.
- Participate in projects and transformation activities impacting Legal Entity Accounting.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or Financial Reporting.
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
- Basic knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, or Local GAAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Intermediate English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or experience in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or Financial Reporting.
- Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems.
- Knowledge of SOX controls and compliance concepts.
- Exposure to statutory accounting, financial statement preparation, or external audits.
- Knowledge of business analytics tools.
