Job Description

This role will focus on supporting, coordinating, and driving the remediation of compliance issues identified through global audits, regulatory examinations, or self-identified compliance issues. This also includes incorporating related compliance and process changes through the compliance change management process, and may involve additional change management tasks to ensure proper implementation, documentation, and communication across relevant teams.

You will work closely with Compliance Leaders, Audit, Legal, Product, and Business Lines to maintain a comprehensive compliance issue and change management framework. This framework encompasses engagements, metrics, plans, processes, and remediation efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Support multiple regulatory exams and external audits and the preparation for on-site exams for Binance’s licensed jurisdictions.
  • Provide a standardized exam and audit framework to apply to each country and support local teams with preparing data requests and presentations. 
  • Understand the applicable regulatory requirements to ensure internal/external audit is adequately designed to identify potential control gaps and non-compliance with laws and regulations. 
  • Support global and local compliance teams to ensure their policies and procedures are up to date and aligned with the internal governance framework.
  • Assist in driving key compliance initiatives to completion, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Assist in preparing regular status reports, presentations, and documentation for internal review and management updates.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years compliance audit and/or advisory experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services regulations, compliance policies, standards, and procedures. 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global organization while maintaining close contact with relevant teams across multiple locations.
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and written skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts into a format digestible by a diverse audience.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to create external facing material in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive and diligent teamwork, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Highly organized and capable of dealing with complex projects.
  • Bachelor degree or international equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English, with strong speaking and writing skills, is essential
  • Experience gained from crypto/fintech is preferred.
  • Exposure to AI technologies and a basic understanding of their applications is preferred.
