Job Description
The Clark County - Las Vegas Justice Court is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Court Division Administrator – Specialty Courts Division position. This management-level position reports directly to the Assistant Court Administrator and is responsible for overseeing the Specialty Courts Division, including Court Education programs, the Neighborhood Justice Center (NJC), and the Community Impact Center(CIC). This position involves advanced administrative, operational, analytical, and strategic leadership responsibilities in support of problem-solving court programs, community-based initiatives, mediation services, and specialty court operations. The ideal candidate will oversee multidisciplinary programs designed to improve public safety, enhance access to justice, reduce recidivism, and strengthen community engagement through collaborative and service-oriented interventions. The Court Division Administrator is responsible for the overall administration, coordination, supervision, and operational oversight of Specialty Courts programs, including Drug Court, DUI Court, Veterans Treatment Court, Mental Health Court and Community Court programs. As a member of our team, you will coordinate projects and collaborative initiatives among justice partners, clinical service providers, treatment agencies, governmental entities, and community stakeholders; conduct community outreach; develop, implement, and interpret policies and procedures; and contribute to performance measurement, personnel management, grant-related processes, grant reporting, compliance initiatives, and other operational activities. In addition, the incumbent oversees the operations of the Neighborhood Justice Center (NJC), which provides community mediation, court-connected mediation, conflict resolution services, diversion programming, volunteer coordination, training initiatives, and public outreach throughout Clark County. The position further oversees the Community Impact Center (CIC), a community resource and referral center that partners with governmental agencies, nonprofit organizations, treatment providers, and justice system stakeholders to connect individuals with supportive services, including housing, healthcare, employment, education, behavioral health, disability assistance, and other wraparound services.
