Relevant risk areas may include advanced therapy operations, aseptic processing, environmental monitoring, chain of identity and custody, manufacturing execution systems, data integrity, validation, technology transfer, facility and equipment controls, regulatory commitments, and supply continuity.

  • Provide independent oversight of continuous inspection readiness in partnership with Site Quality and accountable functions. Advanced Therapy focus areas include aseptic manufacturing, autologous and allogeneic operations, chain of identity and custody, patient-specific process controls, manufacturing execution systems, cryogenic storage and transportation, comparability, multi-site lifecycle controls, and electronic records.

  • Provide compliance leadership for Advanced Therapy manufacturing operations.

  • Lead, coach, and develop Site-Based Regulatory Compliance staff.

  • Develop succession plans and foster an inclusive, accountable, and high-performing culture.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related scientific discipline is required.  Advanced degree preferred.
