This position is currently eligible to telework. This position requires you to work in the office 2-3 days per week. This may increase based on business needs.

Your opportunity at a glance:
The WSLCB Finance Division is announcing an exciting opportunity for a Fiscal Analyst 1 position in Olympia, WA. This position reports to the Beer and Wine Tax Unit Supervisor in the WSLCB's Finance Division. In this position, you will perform professional entry-level financial review and analysis of accounting, auditing and fiscal data in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), governmental auditing standards, statutes or regulations. You will monitor, analyze and process tax reports monthly, track late and missing tax reports, and contact licensees regarding past due Beer and Wine reports.
In this role, you will also provide clear and effective communication to external customers regarding reporting compliance with tax collection and payment laws, rules, policies and procedures. In addition, you will serve as the first level responder to the main contact telephone number for the Beer and Wine Tax Unit and respond to incoming telephone calls and emails for reporting and general questions.
