Responsibilities 

 

Practice Building & Strategic Leadership 

  • Lead and scale the Global Workforce Compliance Solutions practice, integrating global mobility, employee tax, immigration, social security, labour law, payroll, HRMS and managed services capabilities. 
  • Define go-to-market priorities and drive sustainable growth across GCCs, technology, manufacturing and multinational employers. 
  • Build, mentor and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team while maintaining strong quality, risk, delivery and profitability discipline. 
  • Collaborate across functions and the global network to connect India opportunities with relevant international capabilities. 

Global Mobility & Employee Tax 

  • Lead complex inbound and outbound global mobility programmes covering expatriate taxation, tax planning, assignment management, tax equalisation and related regulatory matters. 
  • Oversee immigration compliance for internationally mobile employees and coordinate multi-country mobility engagements. 
  • Advise clients on personal tax matters involving non-residents and expatriates, including assessments, appeals, refund recovery and other tax controversy matters. 
  • Support compensation structuring and employee benefits reviews from tax and regulatory perspectives. 

Social Security & Provident Fund 

  • Advise clients on Provident Fund and broader social security compliance, remediation and transformation matters. 
  • Lead complex projects involving private PF trust transitions, legacy PF reviews, EPF/EPS matters and compliance remediation. 
  • Advise on International Worker requirements, Social Security Agreement analysis and Certificate of Coverage applicability. 
  • Conduct social security due diligence and gap assessments and develop pragmatic remediation plans. 

Labour & Employment Law Advisory 

  • Serve as a senior subject matter adviser on New Labour Codes readiness and implementation and broader labour and employment compliance matters. 
  • Advise on minimum wages, gratuity, professional tax, Shops and Establishments requirements, maternity benefits, POSH, apprenticeship regulations and related areas. 
  • Lead labour-law compliance reviews, due diligence, gap assessments, inspections/notices support and compliance transformation engagements. 
  • Advise clients establishing or expanding GCCs and other entities in India on workforce policies, regulatory requirements and HR policy design. 

Payroll, HRMS & Workforce Transformation 

  • Lead and originate engagements relating to payroll transformation, HRMS solutions, managed services and people-process optimisation. 
  • Help clients strengthen payroll governance, compliance controls, operating models and service delivery. 
  • Work with HR, finance, tax, compliance and technology stakeholders to integrate workforce-related solutions and deliver measurable operational improvements. 

Business Development & Client Leadership 

  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and identify opportunities to expand the Firm’s workforce, tax and compliance services. 
  • Lead strategic proposals, solution development and cross-functional pursuits for complex client requirements. 
  • Develop market opportunities across global mobility, social security, labour law, payroll transformation, HRMS and managed services. 
  • Represent the Firm in industry associations, professional forums, client workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions. 
  • Contribute to thought leadership, publications, webinars and other market-facing initiatives. 

Desired Experience & Qualifications 

  • Approximately 15+ years of relevant professional-services experience across global mobility, employee/direct taxation, labour laws, social security and related workforce advisory areas. 
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams, building practices and managing large, complex client portfolios. 
  • Strong track record in business development, senior stakeholder management and delivery of multi-country engagements. 
  • Deep understanding of Indian employee taxation, PF/social security and labour-law compliance, with practical experience handling complex advisory and remediation matters. 
  • Experience working with multinational organisations, GCCs, start-ups and large domestic employers. 
  • Chartered Accountant qualification strongly preferred; additional qualifications in law, company secretarial practice, information systems audit or related disciplines would be advantageous.
