Job Description

Tinoco, Travieso, Planchart & Núñez is hiring a Labour & Employment Associate based in Caracas, Venezuela. Advise employers on Venezuelan labour law and workforce matters.

Responsibilities

  • Advise under the Ley Organica del Trabajo, los Trabajadores y las Trabajadoras (LOTTT)
  • Draft employment contracts and policies
  • Represent employers before labour inspectorates and courts
  • Advise on collective bargaining and terminations

Requirements

  • Licenciatura en Derecho from an accredited Venezuelan university.
  • Admission as an abogado (registered with a Colegio de Abogados and INPREABOGADO).
  • 2 to 5 years in labour/employment
  • Knowledge of LOTTT and SSO obligations
