Job Description
A well known firm seeks a strategic and practical patent attorney with a strong technical background in biology to join their exceptional IP team. The firm has been one of the country's premier law firms for over a century. Qualifications
Candidates should have between 4 and 6 years of patent prosecution experience, including in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, developing patent portfolios to protect products and/or to position relative to competitors or with respect to investors, conducting IP due diligence and FTO analyses, drafting opinion letters and supporting intellectual property litigators in the development of enforcement and defense strategies. Advanced degree required (PhD preferred; will consider an MS with substantial industry experience). Registration with the USPTO required; prior firm experience preferred. Candidates must have superior organizational and communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service.
