About the role

This role is to act as a proactive business partner to

1) Closely work with business divisions, comprehend the real business needs and concerns and thereby help business teams generate solutions in a feasible and compliant way

2) support strategy implementation to realize the business initiatives and objectives

What impact you can create at Chanel

FRAGRANCE & BEAUTY PRODUCTS (FBP) REGULATORY:

  • Support FBP product registration team to be responsible for FBP product registration and the regulatory compliance related to the safety and quality issues for cosmetic products

  • Closely work with marketing, sales and logistic team for all the RA issues to help the new products launch on time

  • Provide technical support to the related function team inquiries regarding product safety & quality, ingredients, packaging, labelling and claims

  • Rapid communication of the regulatory developments and trends

  • Assist to communicate and coordinate with relevant government registration agency and keep good relationship with them

LICENSES:

Work with agencies and relevant counterparts to ensure full compliance with local regulations for regular business activities or ah-hoc requests:

  • Coordinate applications and renewals for advertising permits and other regulatory approvals as required.

  • Take charge of all required certificates for office and business to operate (ie. firefighting and prevention)

  • Monitor license validity and renewal timelines to ensure continuous compliance.

OTHER LEGAL SUPPORTS:

Working closely with the Regulatory Compliance Manager, Regional Legal Team and relevant business functions:

  • Assist in reviewing operational matters from a regulatory and compliance perspective and escalate risks where appropriate.

  • Live with the mindset for brand protection and brand image under any circumstance

  • Constantly improve the existing process to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

What you will bring

  • A Bachelor's Degree in law or a technical discipline such as biotechnology, chemistry

  • 5 - 7 years relevant experience in similar position, preferably in both a top-tier corporate law firm and multi-national company and experience with regulatory area

  • Strong contract drafting skills strong commercial contract drafting, review and negotiation skill

  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently under pressure and prioritize multiple projects, and work effectively in a fast-paced, results oriented environment.

  • Ability to work independently, proactively and in a self-discipline manner

  • Sound communication and people skill

  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English, both verbal and written

  • *Able to start with a 1-year contract first.
