Your membership renews automatically so your access never cuts out mid-search. But a renewal should never be a surprise. About three days before each renewal, we email you a heads-up with the exact date you will be charged, the exact amount, how the charge will appear on your statement, and a one-click link to cancel if you would rather not renew. You do nothing to stay a member, and you get days of notice if you want to stop.
Every payment comes with a receipt
The instant any payment goes through, your first one or a renewal, we email you an itemised receipt: the plan, the amount, the date, your next renewal date, and a link to manage or cancel. You always have a clear record.
You will always recognise the charge
A surprising number of billing disputes happen for one simple reason: someone does not recognise a line on their card statement. So we keep ours clear. LegalAlphabet charges show up as DODOPAY_LEGALALPHABET. DODOPAY is our payment processor, Dodo Payments, who handle the transaction securely. LEGALALPHABET is us. If you see that line, that is your membership.
Cancel in one click, any time
No retention maze, no "call us to cancel," no button hidden three menus deep. From your account settings you can cancel in a single click, any time. When you do, auto-renew is turned off and you are not charged again, you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for, and we email you a confirmation so you know it worked.
Our 7-day satisfaction guarantee
LegalAlphabet Pro includes a human CV review by a real legal-CV expert. If your first review is not useful, email us from your account email within 7 days of your first membership payment, and we will, at your choice, redo the review for free or add an equivalent free period to your membership.
We would rather be straight with you than oversell. It applies to the first payment that starts a new membership. Because Pro is a digital service you can use immediately, we resolve issues with a free re-review or a membership extension rather than a cash refund, except where a cash refund is required by law. And it is a satisfaction guarantee on our service, not a job guarantee. No honest platform can promise you a job, and we will not pretend otherwise.
