Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Advogado Pleno - Contratos based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a sophisticated legal environment focused on business contracts and advisory matters. You will support companies across a broad range of commercial and corporate needs, combining strong legal expertise with practical business judgment. The position involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements while assessing legal and commercial risks. You will also prepare legal opinions, notifications, and other documents that support strategic decision-making. A strong understanding of the economic and legal context of businesses will be important to delivering tailored solutions. The role is ideal for a mid-level lawyer who values collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous development.

Accountabilities:

    • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, particularly lease agreements and general service contracts.
    • Analyze contractual terms, identify legal and commercial risks, and recommend appropriate solutions aligned with business objectives.
    • Prepare legal opinions, notifications, document reviews, and other advisory materials for clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Provide legal support on a broad range of business-related matters, applying a practical and commercially oriented approach.
    • Understand the economic and legal context surrounding client businesses and translate this understanding into actionable legal advice.
    • Support matters involving shopping centers and related contractual or commercial issues when applicable.
    • Collaborate with colleagues and leadership on multidisciplinary legal projects and complex client demands.
    • Maintain high standards of quality, organization, confidentiality, and responsiveness across assigned matters.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Law and active, regular registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
      • At least 2 years of professional experience focused on contracts and contractual advisory work.
      • Solid knowledge of commercial contracts, particularly lease agreements and service agreements.
      • Generalist knowledge of business and corporate legal matters.
      • Strong ability to understand business scenarios and evaluate their legal and commercial implications.
      • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as PDF tools.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and technically sound legal documents.
      • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, organization, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
      • Ability to work collaboratively while exercising sound professional judgment and managing responsibilities independently.
      • Experience with shopping center-related matters is considered a valuable differentiator.
