AI Product Manager (Intellectual Property / AI Agent)

Patsnap is transforming professional knowledge work with AI. Built on our deep expertise in global patent, R&D, and innovation data, we are developing AI Agent products for complex workflows such as patent search, analysis, drafting, and prosecution.

We are looking for an AI Product Manager who can connect user needs, domain workflows, and AI capabilities to build products that deliver real business value.

Responsibilities

1. AI Product Strategy & Design

• Understand user needs and professional IP workflows, and identify high-value opportunities for AI transformation.
• Define product vision, requirements, prototypes, and roadmap, and drive execution from concept to launch.
• Prioritize product development based on user feedback, data, and business impact.

1. AI × Professional Workflows

• Translate patent search, analysis, drafting, and other IP workflows into effective AI-powered product experiences.
• Work closely with AI engineers, developers, and domain experts to turn professional knowledge and workflows into scalable product capabilities.
• Understand the strengths and limitations of LLMs, RAG, Agents, and related AI technologies, and continuously improve product quality and reliability.

1. Go-to-Market & Commercialization

• Define target users, key use cases, product positioning, and value propositions.
• Develop demos, customer scenarios, and ROI cases to support product adoption and key sales opportunities.
• Work with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to collect market feedback, build customer success stories, and improve commercialization.

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Intellectual Property, Law, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of product management experience in technology, AI, SaaS, or enterprise software; OR 3+ years of professional experience in the IP industry with strong product thinking.
• Good understanding of AI technologies and products, including LLMs, RAG, Agents, NLP, or related areas.
• Strong ability to understand complex user workflows, identify core problems, and translate them into clear product solutions.
• Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and execution skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

• Experience building AI Agent, Copilot, AI Search, or AI Research products from 0 to 1.
• Experience in Intellectual Property, LegalTech, or other professional knowledge-work products.
• Experience in patent prosecution, patent search, corporate IP management, or international IP work.
• Experience working on global products or with international customers.
