Job Description
Banesco Banco Universal is hiring a Legal Counsel, Banking based in Caracas, Venezuela. Provide in-house legal support to Venezuela's largest private bank.
Responsibilities
- Draft and review banking contracts and products
- Advise business units on Ley de Instituciones del Sector Bancario compliance
- Manage litigation and recoveries
- Liaise with SUDEBAN on regulatory matters
Requirements
- Licenciatura en Derecho from an accredited Venezuelan university.
- Admission as an abogado (registered with a Colegio de Abogados and INPREABOGADO).
- 2 to 5 years in banking/financial-services legal
- Strong drafting and stakeholder skills
