Job Description
Mercantil Servicios Financieros is hiring a Regional Legal Counsel based in Valencia, Venezuela. Provide regional in-house legal support for the financial group in Carabobo.
Responsibilities
- Advise regional business units on contracts and compliance
- Manage regional litigation
- Liaise with regulators and external counsel
- Support commercial transactions
Requirements
- Licenciatura en Derecho from an accredited Venezuelan university.
- Admission as an abogado (registered with a Colegio de Abogados and INPREABOGADO).
- 2 to 5 years in-house or firm
- English a plus
