Job Description

Mercantil Servicios Financieros is hiring a Regional Legal Counsel based in Valencia, Venezuela. Provide regional in-house legal support for the financial group in Carabobo.

Responsibilities

  • Advise regional business units on contracts and compliance
  • Manage regional litigation
  • Liaise with regulators and external counsel
  • Support commercial transactions

Requirements

  • Licenciatura en Derecho from an accredited Venezuelan university.
  • Admission as an abogado (registered with a Colegio de Abogados and INPREABOGADO).
  • 2 to 5 years in-house or firm
  • English a plus
